Join Ed on Vancouver’s seedy streets in a dangerous undercover murder investigation. Learn why he had to arrest his own son and put him in jail. Ever heard of the Marijuana Detector? Ed used one to bust a dealer in Cloverdale – not far from where, as a rookie cop, he almost blew himself up in a residential backyard. You might also be surprised to learn of Ed’s major investigation into World War II ordinance right here on the Sunshine Coast. It shut down the entire Howe Sound Pulp and Paper mill in 1991!

"Busted sits on my bedside table. I am nearly finished with it; perhaps two more stories to go. I keep putting off picking it up because, like fine tea or wine, you just want to sip it and savor it.
Hill is a former Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer for his main career and in this book he tells stories about his adventures (and misadventures). This guy can weave a story! Some of the incidents are hilarious, others just plain human interest. Hill is obviously not your typical cop.
If you are looking for a funny, enlightening, sometimes sad, but always fascinating memoir in short story format, I highly recommend Hill's book. The writing is straightforward and engaging."

Ed, The time says It's 923 PM my computer. I have just finished a "badly" needed pee break --- With the end of my activity was insight I just couldn't stop until I passed the finish line. The event started at 315 and ran nonstop till 920 PM. I got so involved and interested in what I was doing I bypassed dinner and I even failed to visit and feed my wife Betty at her Care Facility. And what was I doing? Well at 315 I started reading a book called "BUSTED" and could not put it down until I closed it with the final words on page 118.
Ed, yesterday you told me that your thoughts would be that people might read a chapter or so in bed then pick it up and continue the next day for another couple chapters. I am predicting how wrong you are and I'm sure that many others will follow the same activity I engage myself in today!
I know you a lot better today than I did yesterday and I want to know how proud it makes me feel to be your friend. It was excellent reading and you have to be very proud of the legacy "you" and you book "Busted" leave behind here. Bill Beaton - A great gifted storyteller who brings the printed word to life in his true stories from his life as an RCMP Officer. I just hope that there is a book two and three. Thanks Ed Hill for your honesty and no BS approach.
