- Booster crosses over with Blackest Night when a Black Lantern ring revives Ted Kord and sends him after Booster and his present day ancestors. After battling with the zombified version of his best friend, Booster also has to locate his sister who went missing in the time stream only to find out she has settled down in the past... in Coast City days before the Cyborg Superman and Mongul obliterate the town. Booster remains a complex and fascinating hero in this book as his duties as a Time Master force him to start protecting Hector Hammond in the past (Cyborg Superman) in order to preserve the time stream despite the man's future sins. Likewise, when Booster arrives in Coast City to rescue his sister he needs to grapple with either allowing time to continue as expected or attempt to save lives from Mongul's assault.
- Booster is such an underated hero in the DCU, if your into booster get this book. even if your not its a great read couldnt put it down
- "The Tomorrow Memory" collects some of the best comics ever featuring Booster Gold, one of the most interesting and overlooked heroes in the DC pantheon. Booster must confront some serious matters in this collection including a friend who has become a Black Lantern and a moral dilemma when he has to choose between preserving the time line or saving hundreds of thousands of people. Dan Jurgens is an excellent writer and illustrator and he knows the character very well. There are some problems of course and, while she was first created decades ago, Booster's sister Michelle has really not taken on a life of her own. There are a few slow spots of course. But overall this collection is very good and raises some interesting issues. This is a final bow for Jurgens with Booster Gold--let's hope he continues to shape this hero.
